Wichita, KS- The Independence Community College men's basketball team was predicted to finish 4th in the Eastern Division of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference on Monday, October 15th at the annual KJCCC men's basketball media day. Coffeyville was predicted to finish first, Cowley County second, and Allen County third. The Pirates have finished second place in the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division the last four seasons.
"I think all the predictions are based off of past years performance," said head ICC men's basketball coach Tommy DeSalme. "What matters most in the game of basketball is your performance in the months of February and March. Predictions don't mean a thing unless they come out right and they never do."
