 Pirates Show Off Singing Skills

Independence, KS-   The Independence Pirates added some holiday flavor to campus and within the community with some Christmas caroling.  The Pirates sang songs to administrators, teachers, and students at various spots on campus and made a few trips around town to share some holiday cheer.  The event was very exciting and worthwhile for the Pirates!  Point Guard Antonio Hanson continued to showcase his leadership abilities by organizing and conducting the Pirate Singing Choir song lists.  Sophomore James Bush was a delight to see as he showcased his dancing skills during the festivities.  To top off the evening were solo spot appearances by sophomore TJ Stukes in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and freshman Jaron Egbe in Silent Night.  Make sure you come out and support your "singing" Pirates on January 5th here at home in ICC's Jayhawk East Conference Opener against Johnson County at 4pm.
