Prior to Independence:  Led Topeka West to three straight state appearances, finishing third in 2003 and 2004 and second in 2005...a Second-Team All-City and Third Team All-State selection as a junior and a First-Team All-City and Second Team All-State Selection as a senior...Was also the the City's leading scorer his senior season.

While at Independence:  Averaged 8.1 ppg and 3.6 rpg in 29 games played as a freshman...scored a career-high of 16 points vs. Butler CC on 12/3/06...grabbed a career-high nine rebounds on 11/21/06 vs. Arkansas Tech J.V.
