Lady Pirates Go 0-2 in Classic

The Independence women's basketball team fought hard Saturday, but similar to the previous night it was just not quite enough. While the 14 point differential in the final score is misleading on how the game actually played out this offered no consolation to Head Coach Tony Turner. "I realize the game was a much closer game than the score indicates, but they all count as losses. Hopefully we can take something from this weekend and build on it for the future."

Sophomores Ashley Gladden and Therese Hager both chipped in with 11 points in the loss.

The Lady Pirates are back at the Fieldhouse Wednesday November 14 vs Tabor JV. Tip off is at 7:00pm.
