Lady Pirates Move to 2-0

The ICC women’s basketball team turned a 41-39 halftime lead into a 84-59 victory Tuesday night. The Lady Pirates were led by the outside shooting of Chelsea Trimble. The Sophomore connected on five trey's and also dished out five assists. "It's about time shots started to fall for me!" said Trimble. "I struggled against Southwestern so it felt good to knock a few shots down tonight. Hopefully this will carry over because we have a couple of big games this weekend." Sophomore Ashley Gladden also continued her early success posting 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

These two teams will meet again on Tuesday, November 20 in Wilburton, OK.

The Lady Pirates hit the road for their first test away from the Fieldhouse this weekend. ICC will play Hutchinson Community College at 5:30pm on Friday and Cloud County Community College at 1:30pm on Saturday in Hutchinson, KS for the Grand Prairie Hotel Classic.
